The convert – the moment of baptism:

An unrealistic paraphrase but one that seeks to be a kind of an X-ray look into the feelings of the woman being baptized.
At the end of the conversion process, the converted woman is obliged to immerse in the Mikve in front of male rabbi witnesses.
There, at this moment her new Jewish being is “created”, but as the garment wettens and clings to her body, her naked image is revealed to the viewing men as well.
I am interested in expressing the not coincidentally, sexual humiliation at this peak moment, alongside the false holiness at its base.
